Students And Young Professionals Program [SYP]
Students and Young Professionals (SYP) program will be coordinated and organized by SANSA and Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC). This SYP program is free of charge and open to students and young professionals
A dedicated workshop on the Sunday (17 May 2021) before the SpaceOps conference, titled “Space Operations for Constellations of CubeSat/Nanosatellites” will be offered to students and young professionals at the CPUT(Cape Peninsula University of Technology) cubesat facility. Transport will be provided by the SpaceOps 2021 conference organisesr.
A Speed Mentoring event scheduled on Tuesday (19 May 2021) after the SpaceOps sessions will offer opportunities to talk about careers in space business and operations. Discussions among Spaceops mentors and SYP will be organized using the round tables format. It will be followed by a joint networking event.

Student Sponsorship Opportunities
ESA Education will provide sponsorship to a select few university students to support their participation in conferences. The selection is competitive, and clear priority will be given to students whose abstracts have been accepted by the conference organisers and who have not been sponsored by ESA before.
The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) has partnered with NASA Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program to allow 2 U.S. students to attend the Students and Young Professionals Program (SYP) organized by SGAC and SpaceOps Committee at the 16th Conference on Space Operations (SpaceOps) as well as the Conference itself, hosted in Cape Town, South Africa from May 17 to May 22, 2021, by the South African National Space Agency (SANSA).
